Life: what it seems to be
Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the world’s top-selling female recording artist of all time by the Guinness World Record.
We all could learn a thing or two from her; no matter who we are or what we seek to create. No, you don’t want Madonna’s life (really, you don’t).
What you do want though, is your life (a life that is perfect for you) to manifest with grace, ease and spectacular success, like hers does.
I am fine. No, that was an understatement. Actually, I am feeling phenomenal good. Every day I can decide on how to spend my time, completely free without restrictions. The water I’m drinking is extraordinarily clean and, even more importantly, free of germs, bacteria, and pathogens. Also, don’t have to worry where to get my food for the next day. My civil rights are being protected by a state that allows me to express my opinion (freedom of speech) without having to fear prosecution. Our generations are rising up without war and famines and have the chance to get an excellent education
Are you aware of the beauty of your life?
Have you noticed something at this point? I, you and all the other people that read these lines have a hundred times easier, safer and better life than millions of other people from third world countries will ever be able to experience.
But are we aware of these facts? Not really, instead of being grateful most of us don’t even realize how amazing our lives are..
Being alive is a privilege: When you think about all of the odds that have been overcome for life on earth to develop and when you consider all the human beings who have not lived to the same age that you are at now, it is clear that you are in possession of a fantastic privilege simply by being alive. Any biologist will tell you that there are many billions and trillions of ways in which DNA can combine in order to create a unique human being. And yet, only a small fraction of possible human beings have ever been born. That makes you very special, just by virtue of your existence – and everyone else is very special too, for the same reason...
Some people find solving math problems beautiful whilst for others the highest beauty is to be found in gardening and watching things grow. The world caters for all tastes, and lets us all live side by side and enjoy our own ideals of beauty peacefully without encroaching on other people’s...
The wonders of biodiversity and the mysteries of the heavens can provide us with peace, tranquility and occasions for learning at any moment of the day. Whether hiking through remote mountains or just relaxing in our own garden or the local park, there is beauty all around us if we just take a moment to appreciate it..
